Can my dog be out during our clean up?Yes! We love visiting with dogs when we service your lawn! We often have treats in our pockets for that reason so if your dog is on a strict diet please let us know. However, if your dog isn't a big fan of people in their yard then we kindly ask that you leave them inside during our visit.
-
What do you do with the poop you scooped? We collect all of the waste in biodegradable bags. We pack it all in double bags before leaving them in your green compost bin or garbage bin. We do offer take-away service for a small fee.
-
Do I need to be home for my appointment?Nope! We just ask that you please ensure that we have easy access to your yard. Please unlock any gate locks on the day of our appointment. We will send a reminder notice to you the morning of your appointment. If you prefer to keep your gate locked then reach out to us and we can work something out.
-
What about bad weather? We will come out in drizzly weather but if it is downpouring heavily or the roads are dangerous due to snow/ice then we well be in touch to re-schedule for another day!
-
Do you clean yards all year?We can service your yard all year! Winter is the time that most people really dislike cleaning their yard so can help you with that! In the winter we may pause a cleaning if the snow is too much that it buries all of the poop. We also offer spring cleaning services if you choose to pause services during the winter.
-
How will I be billed for services? What payment methods do you accept? We ask that our customer pre-pay for service ahead of our visits. We send our invoices on the 15th of each month . We ask that invoices be paid by the 1st of the month so that we can keep your yard fresh and clean! We currently accept e-transfer and cash for payment.
-
Do we need to sign a contract?Nope! We do not have contracts. We just book your appointments month to month. Feel free to adjust your services as you need! We just ask that you please give us 48 hours notice so we can adjust on our schedules. You can do this by emailing us at service@trustyscoopers.com or call/text 289-990-4626.

Can I pick my date & time for service? Our route scheduler will determine the best days for your pooper scooper service based on your address. We will try to get the dates that you request, but we cannot guarantee due to many variables on any given day. Generally your service should be close to the same each week.

Why should we poop scoop our yard often? There are many reasons this can help your yard, pets and family! Here are a few of them: Protect your lawn- Not only is is nasty to step on a doggy landmine... its not great for your grass. Its also far more enjoyable to host parties and visitors knowing your lawn is clean and not stinky! It's Healthier for Everyone- People can contract a host of infections from dog waste, including tapeworm, roundworm, and salmonella. Improper cleaning can lead to things getting tracked into the house on your pups paws. These pathogens could linger in your soil long after the poop is gone, especially if not properly cleaned up. Rodents like poop- Unfortunately rodents can make themselves right at home in a yard with lots of poop. This can be a real problem especially in residential areas. That's why its best to scoop regularly and put it in the trash bin! We recommend weekly cleanings to keep a clean and safe yard. However, we can work with you to find the best solution to fit your lifestyle and budget!
